Non-alcoholic wine starts life off as a full strength traditional wine, then is sent off to have the alcohol gently removed. Why? Two reasons: One, updated research shows that there is no longer any benefit to consuming alcohol. So if you drink for the taste, an alcohol-free alternative looks pretty good. Two, technology is constantly improving, allowing sommeliers and traditional winemakers to expand excitedly into the non-alcoholic wine market. Eventually, it would be impossible to tell the difference between a full strength and NA wine, until then, this collection is as close as it gets.
